The next step in the crazy-popular Zoom MultiStomp line-up, the MS-50G+ multi-effect pedal stacks up a mass of effects, preamp modelling and Multi-Layer Impulse Responses. In total, you're getting 100 memory patches, including 15 user presets and 85 factory presets to help get you started. In terms of effects, you get 100 different flavours to choose from, so you can colour in your sound with everything from modulation effects like chorus, to thick overdrives and distortions, various reverbs and delays and everything in between. Up to six effects can be chained and engaged at the same time, and by using both of the two fitted jack outputs, this pedal can even spit stereo effects.

Just like the previous models, this MultiStomp offering has somehow been crammed inside a super-compact box. And, while pretty trim, all of the controls needed for selecting, configuring and fine-tuning your sounds have been provided and are accessed via the 160 x 128 dot-matrix LCD display screen. Using the Cross Key switches, you can access various functions while playing and, as well as standard tuning, the built-in chromatic tuner supports alternative drop and open tunings. With the help of the Guitar Lab iOS app, you can even upload and download your favourite amplifier emulations, effects and artist patches via the fitted USB-C port and, for maximum freedom and convenience, the Zoom MS-50G+ can be powered with a standard 9 Volt DC power supply or with just two AA batteries.
